Before starting, use a disposable testnet-only wallet with no valuable approvals or assets, and independently locate LitVM’s official testnet hub. You need the published LiteForge network parameters and a small amount of testnet zkLTC for gas. Do not send real LTC to Lester Labs, import a valuable wallet for a testnet task, or enter a private key or recovery phrase into any website.
Click the network selector at the top of MetaMask, then click "Add network". Scroll to the bottom and click "Add a network manually".
Cross-check these values against LitVM’s official testnet hub before adding them: • Network name: LitVM LiteForge • New RPC URL: https://liteforge.rpc.caldera.xyz/http • Chain ID: 4441 • Currency symbol: zkLTC • Block explorer URL: https://liteforge.explorer.caldera.xyz A network-add prompt can be spoofed. Cancel if the wallet displays a different chain ID or endpoint.
After saving, select "LitVM LiteForge" in MetaMask and re-check chain ID 4441, the RPC endpoint, and the explorer before connecting this site.
Chain ID alone does not authenticate a wallet RPC. Before every prompt, require chain ID 4441 and independently cross-check the wallet’s RPC and explorer against LitVM’s official LiteForge parameters. Lester’s reads use a source-pinned endpoint, which can differ from a wallet provider you configured.
Locate the current LiteForge faucet from LitVM’s official testnet hub (testnet.litvm.com), then paste only the public address of a disposable test wallet. Faucet availability, limits, and response times can change. A faucet does not need your seed phrase or private key, and Lester Labs does not sell testnet zkLTC or arrange private gas transfers.
